Cubs take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

Cubs meet on a Wednesday evening 19:00 – 20:30

When our Cubs are not out and about on their adventures, they can be found at our group HQ. Find us here

Our Cubs join us between their 8th birthday until they are about 10 1/2 years.

We have a wonderful Leadership Team who guide our Cubs through their Scouting journey! Meet the team

During their two years with us, our Cubs enjoy a range of fantastic experiences, such as:

• spending the night away from home, either inside on a sleepover, or under the stars (in a tent) on camp,
• fun day trips exploring the world around them,
• representing our Group on District wide events, such as St. George’s Day Parade,
• earning a variety of badges along the way,
• and most importantly – having lots of FUN!

What Cubs wear

Our Cubs wear a uniform which consists of a green sweatshirt with your badges sewn on and Mid Severn’s red and blue necker which tells people which group our Cubs are from. There are lots of other optional accessories you can wear such as hats, hoodies, navy blue trousers or shorts.

Why uniform is important

Wearing a uniform is comfy and practical. It means no one feels uncomfortable or left out and helps everyone feel part of the Pack. It also gives you a place to show off all the badges you earn.

Where to buy your uniform

Uniform can either be bought from our online shop – Scout Store – or from a local supplier. If you’re not sure where to start, adult volunteers can give you more information about what to buy and where to buy it.
